Anatomy of a House

It's not that I'm all for 'blogging and in fact, I've resisted it for some time. However, when my friend Jason suggested that this would be THE medium for documenting the (re)construction of our home, this year, I have to admit the idea had some appeal. The story so far: when we bought our home, we knew it would ultimately be too small for our needs, but we love the location (at the end of a cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood) and have been very happy there. So, after living in the house for 2 1/2 years, we tore it apart to build it anew from the ashes.
